Network
Scalability
Because of this unique connection, BreakForth!
does not need to link to the Internet though an OC-3
or T-3
Telecom circuit. Instead, fiber optic cables run inside our building directly
from the BreakForth! NOC to the Internet Backbone. Whatever your bandwidth
needs may be, BreakForth! has the scalability to meet them.
Network Reliability
Industry
analysis reveals that 70% of downtime, over ten hours with any ISP, is
caused by telephone circuit failure. Since our NOC is connected to the
Internet Backbone via fiber optic lines, circuit failure is virtually
eliminated because there is not a phone circuit between us and our provider.
Qwest has peering connections with
other major Tier 1 providers, which allows traffic to be switched to alternate
backbones should the need arise.
